Over the years, Shelly was featured in numerous press and publications with her studio, Miss Chickpea’s Funky Fibers. It was an amazing studio in NE Ohio for many years.

Winner of a Fox 8 award in the “Best Arts & Crafts” category two years in a row, Miss Chickpea’s Funky Fibers’ owner, Shelly, was interviewed on the five o’clock news show in 2008. The contest was judged by the number of public votes the businesses received. This interview allowed the art studio to gather some press for its entry into the contest.
